Fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid waterproofing membrane that resists algae. Made from plasticized synthetic polymers and lamellar fillers. It offers high elasticity, excellent adhesion to the substrate, and high resistance to water, weather, and foot traffic.
It also gives the treated supports protection from UV rays and solar heating thanks to its high reflection capacity and does not absorb light radiation in the white base version.

TR-XF2 DRY contains maximum VOCs 10 g / l
NEW CEMENT-BASED SUBSTRATES:
Make sure that the surface is free from rising damp, perfectly dry, clean and well cured (at least 2 months)
WORN CEMENT-BASED SUBSTRATES:
Eliminate, if present, parts in phases of detachment and restore any imperfections with specific cement mortar.
Dust the entire surface and make sure it is free of moisture, perfectly dry and clean.
TARED OR BITUMINOUS SHEATHES:
Wait for the complete oxidation of the support which varies from 3 to 6 months depending on the atmospheric conditions.
After oxidation, carefully clean the entire surface of dust and any residues that could compromise the adhesion of the paint.
ACRYLIC SHEATHES:
On damaged sheaths, eliminate parts in phases of detachment.
Dust the entire surface and make sure it is free of rising damp, perfectly dry and clean.
- Make sure that the substrate is perfectly prepared;
- Apply two, three coats of TR - XF2 DRY diluted 0-10% with water by volume, with intervals of approximately 6 - 8 hours from each other. In special cases (where a greater thickness is required) the product can be used without any dilution.
The product is available in ready-made bases:
White - Gray 7004 - Red 612 - Green 6002.
If necessary, dilute the product in the percentages indicated to facilitate application and distension.
-
- Mix well before use;
- For a uniform finish use bases from the same production batch;
- In case this is not possible to mix the various productions together in order to avoid any differences in tone;
- Do not apply with a thickness greater than 800 µ (0,8 mm) per coat;
- Do not apply with air and / or substrate temperatures below + 8 ° C or above + 35 ° C;
- Do not apply with relative humidity higher than 80%;
- Do not apply on substrates with rising damp;
- Do not apply on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight;
- Do not apply in anticipation of rain;
- Do not interrupt the application if the surface is not completed;
- Store the product without dilution water in a sealed container placed in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
To obtain a surface with greater resistance to walking and with better qualities of the waterproofing mantle, a glass fiber reinforcement must be inserted between the first and second coat of the product. It is necessary to impregnate the reinforcement with TR-XF2 DRY, diluted with about 30% of water by volume, in order to facilitate adhesion with the first layer of the product.
To obtain an even more resistant covering, double reinforcement in cross arrangement can be used.
Sufficiently ventilate the room after painting before staying there again.
Dispose of empty containers according to local regulations. For further information consult the relative safety data sheet.
